There are so many reasons to love October but we’ll name three – beer, beer and beer! Oktoberfest celebrates the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese but for us, it’s all about the beer. Prost!

One of our favourite watering holes, The Irish House, is celebrating Oktoberfest in style. From themed decor, German-inspired dishes and great offers on beer, they have planned everything!

If you like your beer fresh from the tap, choose from domestic draught or craft beers – Kingfisher, Bira91 to White Owl at just INR 225++ and imported draughts like Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Erdinger, Heineken, and Edelweiss at just INR 445++, in their exclusive 500ml yard glasses!

This British-themed, trendy bar has an eclectic vibe and serves generous portions of your favourite comfort food at affordable prices.
For Oktoberfest, they have offers running from all month long. They have curated special Oktoberfest-themed cocktails to beat this October heat! These include: BBC Crush, a vodka-based cocktail made with basil leaves, fresh orange juice and wheat beer. For people who love fruity cocktails, try out the Chelsea vs BBC that is a concoction of ginger, rosemary, cranberry juice, grenadine and lag. Coffee lovers have to check out the Black October – a unique mixture of cold espresso, Kahlua, stout and cocoa powder!
To make things more exciting, get a draught beer at INR 149++ and get 500 ml of any craft beer at INR 499++.
This swanky restaurant is the perfect pick for bottomless Sunday brunches! This Oktoberfest, they have spiced things up with free-flow chilled beer, sliders and pumping music. They want you to party the way Germans do during this beer festival.
Pair your beer with two lip smacking appetizers from the special Oktoberfest Menu at just INR 1500++. The menu features dishes like Roasted Pork Belly, Pulled Pork Slider, Roasted Chicken Slider, Nachos and more. Located in the heart of Bandra, this cosy, boozy brunch spot is celebrating Oktoberfest till the 10th of October.
This Oktoberfest, Kaitlyn’s is introducing a unique concept by providing a hands-on experience of a live BBQ, at your table, priced at INR 1499++. One can feast on barbecued meat, while enjoying an ice-cold beer on the side.
The menu consists of specials like Pork Belly Bruschetta, Pork Ribs and Malai Broccoli which you can pair with freshly brewed beers on tap like Apple Cider, Flying Pig, Bira White and Blonde and Stouts.
5). Gateway Taproom
We love this place for its zen interiors and their in-house brewed beers.
To shake things up during Oktoberfest, they have created two specially-designed craft beers in theme with the festival. The first one is the Bomberg, a deliciously smoked beer inspired by the smoked beers of Bamberg in Germany. The second one is aptly called Oktoberfest, a toasty, caramel lager that is made with locally sourced Munich and Vienna malts. Their popular German style in-house beers like the White Zen and Doppelganger along with other favourites like Side Car (apple cider) and the Citra IPA (Valencia orange wheat) will be on offer as well. Couple your beers with special dishes like Käsespätzle, Mushroom Stroganoff, Half Roast Chicken and Curry Wurst. Breakfast lovers, they have Oktoberfest all-day breakfast specials as well!
6). 145 Cafe And Bar

145 and freakshakes go hand-in-hand. Apart from the freakshakes, they have wickedly innovative cocktails and finger food that never fails to impress the party animal in us.
Make your way to 145 Kalaghoda or Bandra and experience all things beer with a big chunk of Germany right here in the city till the 15th of October.

This friendly-neighbourhood cafe is the cutest spot to hang out with friends while playing some fun board games and digging into their tasty nibbles.
Get set and beer guzzle this D:OHktober Fest at D:OH! All Day Dining till the 7th of October. From the pints, pitchers and towers to the German grub, they have you sorted. While you chug on some beers, indulge in a plethora of exotic German dishes like German Poutine, Beery Eye Bite Platter, The Good German Burger and Big Daddy Dogs.
If you want to challenge your beer chugging skills, try and guzzle as much as you can, straight from the tap for a minute starting at INR 225++.
Date nights are always sorted at this Bandra spot with funky cocktails, scrumptious food and great music.

This chain of restaurants has taken over the bar scene in India with quirky gimmicks and offers, easy finger food and insta-worthy cocktails.
An Oktoberfest menu has been designed with a special Oktoberfest beer and burger combination. Team their Death Grip Burger with Hoegaarden Draught. For flavours that hit closer to home, pair the Belly of the Boar, that has boar belly tossed in Kerala spices, with a refreshing Corona. If you want something even more flavourful, bite into The BAUGer, a Parsi style mutton boti topped with sali and wash it down with the Mexican lager, SOL.
A recent addition to Colaba, this brewpub is part pop-art exhibit and part watering hole! With over 16 different varieties of freshly, brewed craft beer, this place is a paradise for beer lovers.
They have planned fun-filled evenings with Oktoberfest-themed pub quizzes and live music nights. Chug down glasses of the German special beer: the Marzen Lager at just INR 695++. The Marzen is a lager, brewed in Germany in the month of March and is served at the Oktoberfest and consumed over the summer. This beautiful brew is clean but crisp, toasty and malty and very well-balanced. Their Oktoberfest food menu has some lip-smacking dishes that are prepared with in-house craft beers.
11). Crafters Tap House
We recently checked out this new space in Powai and digged the chill vibe and ofcourse their light beers.
They have offers from 5th of October to the 14th of October, where you can enjoy their limited edition Craftoberfest beers along with specially curated authentic German menu and fun-filled live entertainment. Try out the two unique specials: Craftober Fest Lager and Rauch, which are additions to the existing authentic German brews of Hefeweizen and Dark Lager.
