Over 100,000 new patients are annually diagnosed with breast cancer in India alone. And estimates show that 1 in every 28 women in India is prone to developing breast cancer during her lifetime. With early detection, chances of survival are up to 99 percent. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about spreading awareness about early detection and self-examination.
