Where in the city would you go to grab a good breakfast?

The Nutcracker! I was introduced to the cafe by my team and I’ve been hooked ever since. My favourites are the Cream Cheese Bagel and Salli Eggs.

You’re in the mood for some Chinese food. Which place do you hit up?

Having spent half my life at one particular table at Yauatcha, that’s definitely my regular go to or even Royal China.  Also, don’t cringe, but I love an egg triple Szechwan with crispy noodles after a late night out.

The best pancakes you’ve ever had have been at?

Chocolate chip pancakes at Bastian, hands down. Also, while on the topic of dessert at Bastian, a special shout out for the Turtles Cheesecake – my all-time favourite in Mumbai right now.

What’s your “guilty pleasure” when it comes to food, after a particularly hard day at work?

Typically a hard day at work would end around midnight or later, so the options are few. My night would end with meeting a couple of friends and getting our favourite chicken tikka masala (extra spicy) with dal makhani and butter roomali rotis from Sheetal Bukhara.

What’s your take on avocados in food? Your favourite avocado-based dish is?

My take is just like everyone else’s- you cannot escape the avo life. My favourite avocado based dish is the Eggocado at Vibe. It’s a spinach wrap with avocado egg salad and spicy mayo, served with Asian coleslaw.

Where in the city would you go to grab a good breakfast?

Kala Ghoda Café, without a doubt. A fluffy cheese omelette followed by the best coffee in the city with almond cake with cream to finish is a perfect start to a Sunday morning. I also love the ghee dosa at Madras Café.

You’re in the mood for some Chinese food. Which place do you hit up?

House of Mandarin in Bandra is a tiny inconspicuous spot that rips off or more politely, curates some of my favourites dishes from various Asian restaurant menus in the city and gives it to you way cheaper and under one roof.  Think truffle edamame dumplings, pan tossed noodles and prawn cheung fung.

The best pancakes you’ve ever had have been at?

I’m not a pancake fan but Chef Kelvin at Bastian in Bandra can make anything yummy, so I’ll go with those since all my friends salivate over them!

What’s your “guilty pleasure” when it comes to food, after a particularly hard day at work?

Always any kind of Gomantak food. Coconut curry, rice, sol kadi with fried surmai. C’mon, nothing beats that!

What’s your take on avocados in food? Your favourite avocado-based dish is?

I love me my avocados but never buy them at home as I can never get them to either ripen fast or slow enough but I can consume them in any form. My go-to is the avocado toast at Kitchen Garden.

It has to be Madras Café. I love everything there!

You’re in the mood for some Chinese food. Which place do you hit up?

I’d go to Koko or Royal China. I don’t think anyone does delicious Chinese better.

The best pancakes you’ve ever had have been at?

The best pancakes I’ve ever had have been at Indigo Deli. They’re perfectly fluffy and the best way to start your day.

What’s your “guilty pleasure” when it comes to food, after a particularly hard day at work?

I think I’d go with the melanzane from Cecconi’s or a good old Bombay roadside sandwich.

What’s your take on avocados in food? Your favourite avocado-based dish is?

I love avocados in food! My favourite has to be the Hummus & Avocado on Toast at The Nutcracker.

I would definitely go to The Nutcracker for a good breakfast. There’s so much to choose from and everything that they serve is delicious!

You’re in the mood for some Chinese food. Which place do you hit up?

I love Asian food and there are lots of restaurants in Mumbai that serve some of the best Asian dishes, but the one place I’d go to for Chinese in particular is Yauatcha. My other favourites are Royal China and House of Mandarin.

The best pancakes you’ve ever had have been at?

I’m not really a pancake person but The Nutcraker has some yummy pancakes.

What’s your “guilty pleasure” when it comes to food, after a particularly hard day at work?

Haha! There are so many. it’s difficult to pick one but mostly, I would gravitate towards having anything warm, comforting and savoury rather than a dessert.

What’s your take on avocados in food? Your favourite avocado-based dish is?

Oh! I love avo. It’s the one thing I can eat all day, every day. I mainly love it for its versatility. My favourite avocado dish has to be the Avocado on toast at Kitchen Garden.

We don’t know about you, but knowing about all of their top picks in the city has sure stirred up an appetite! Avocado on toast, anyone?
