Here's our pick of party places!

It’s time, guys. Too many people have had a tough 2016, which means everyone’s going to be happier to say goodbye to it. We propose a night of partying harder. Note that partying can also mean going out for a delicious meal, or chilling at home watching stuff on Netflix (as long as you’ve got a better drink than usual).

If you’re looking to put on your best clothes and head out, these are our picks.

The Bar Stock Exchange, 7 outlets
This may be the largest set of rooftop parties around the city taking place at a chain’s outlets. With a wider dress code than most places, you can get yourself unlimited food and drinks at TBSE outlets. The music promises to be global, and you can probably enter in your pyjamas. Entry to any of their outlets is priced at  Rs 4000 for a couple.
TBSE has outlets at BKC, Oshiwara, Bandra, Lower Parel, Saki Naka, Colaba, and Juhu.

Dishkiyaaon, BKC
On offer at the suburb’sB funkiest restaurant is premium alcohol, unique food, and a 3 AM deadline. DJ Taher will man the deck and keep feet tapping all night starting 8 PM. Passes are priced at Rs 8500 for couples and Rs 4500 for stags. Call 82911 39404 for information or to save your spot.

SamBar Pub & Kitchen, Khar
Bring in 2017 with a tangy, south Indian twist here. On offer are Kappi Madras, a vodka-based cocktail and coffee liquor along with Pysum Shots. Their innovative take on classic recipes from the south are as interesting as tasty. Although there are no entry charges, billing is on a minimum of Rs 2000 per person.
Lima, BKC
The South American tapas bar is hosting a techno evening where Zurich-based DJ Lilly Palmer shall man the decks. Unlimited alcohol and appetisers are available on entry, which is priced at Rs 3999 and Rs 5999 per couple.
 
Estella, Juhu
The city’s first Australian restaurant is having a party by the seaside with LED projection and midnight fireworks. Estella can accommodate up to 120 people across its indoor and outdoor sections and serves a particularly wide variety of alcohol. Call 79999 98232 or 79999 98212 for pricing and reservations.

Copa, Juhu

Whether you’re team Bollywood or team EDM, Copa wants you to dance all night. They’re offering comfort food, high-energy beats that balance Bollywood & EDM, and premium alcohol. The Little Door, Veera Desai Area, Andheri
Nothing spells comfort like a slumber party. This theme lets you put on your favourite pyjamas or shorts, while you try seasonal cocktails, have cheese popcorn, and even kiddie favourites like candy floss. The entry is priced at Rs 2500 for unlimited alcohol, snacks, games, and a special swag bag.

Madeira & Mime, Powai

A simple entry fee of Rs 500 allows you to order from their incredibly affordable and thoroughly tasty menu. The menu includes Finger Food, Lankan Hoppers, Kolkata Rolls, Poutine, Pasta & Pizza, as well as Desserts. This casual gastro-pub has an expansive cocktail menu, where we enjoy the Zafferano and the Japanese Sour.
St. Regis, Lower Parel
At the regal Lower Parel 5-star, newly-opened European restaurant Luna GustaJapanese restaurant Yuuka, and Indian haunt The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar will serve unlimited food and alcohol. On the 37th floor, By The Mekong will serve up a special menu for the evening with unlimited alcohol. Neighbouring bars Luna Nudo and Exo will serve unlimited alcohol.
The passes are priced at Rs 8000 per person at Luna Nudo and Exo for unlimited premium alcohol, Rs 15000 per couple at The Sahib Room and Kipling Bar and By The Mekong for unlimited food and premium alcohol. Yuuka and Luna Gusta are priced at Rs 20000 for unlimited food and premium alcohol.
The Leela Mumbai, Chakala

Six Degrees
This relaxed lounge is by a pool, and promises a laidback yet energetic night. The venue will be slightly cool and definitely breezy on the last night of the year.  Where you can nibble on a buffet, get some barbeque, and even get well-made classic cocktails. Entry is at Rs 7499 ++.

Le Cirque Signature
If your idea of a great evening is a perfectly prepared gorgeous meal, look no further. One of the world’s finest gastronomical outlets offers meals at The Leela. Get a sober 6 course dinner with non-alcoholic drinks at Rs 7999 ++, though we recommend an upgrade to wine pairings for Rs 9999 ++.

Jamavar
The Leela’s Indian restaurant has a special four course dinner with a soulful ghazal performance. Send your parents, unless you’re all for some old school charm.

The Great Wall
Chinese is one our favourite foods as a city, and there’s barely a better way to bring in a new year than dimsum and all its friends. The Great Wall will serve an aromatic buffet with live stations. Expect authentic Chinese food.

Citrus
Sometimes, you want a wider variety than just one or two cuisines. Citrus, the coffee shop at The Leela offers an enormous buffet spread with Indian and International dishes and a live band to groove to.

Dinner at these 3 places with non-alcoholic beverages is priced at Rs 5499 ++, and with alcoholic beverages is priced at Rs 6499 ++. The meal for a pre-teen is Rs 2999 ++.

Baroke Lounge, Grant Road
The all-veg nightclub is going to split the house down with music. DJ Prasad will play a balanced mix of Bollywood and EDM here. The perks of this location are its presence in a hotel, which means a long party that will wind up at 3:30 AM. A wide selection of alcohol will be available along with vegetarian starters. Beetroot Borani at Farmer & Sons’ 3-course meal

Farmer & Sons, Fort
The chic venue is keeping it simple, with a 3-course meal offering fresh vegetarian and meat options, prepared with their natural, freshly handpicked farm produce. Some of the dishes you can order from include The Doner (roast chicken, tzatziki, pickled beetroot, marinated peppers, aioli) and Beetroot Borani (feta, dill, walnuts, wood-fired pita). Desserts on offer will include Bake Chocolate Truffle (fig-infused liqueur, crème fraiche) and Apple Cinnamon Galette (bourbon vanilla bean custard). The 3-course meal shall be available on the 1st of January for lunch and dinner as well. It’s priced at Rs 999 ++ and Rs 1499 ++ if you add unlimited IMFL.

Veranda and The Daily Bar & Kitchen, Bandra
We live in the city of hustle, and that often means wanting more. Sometimes one party just doesn’t cut it. So these smart folks allow you to go back and forth between two parties with different food, décor, music, and crowd. Veranda will serve up its modern Indian fare with a flamboyant Gatsby theme. The Daily Bar & Kitchen will stir and shake their range of cocktails and serve a curated menu of European food.

The best part? Four fully loaded party buses with sound systems will move between the locations from 9 PM to 5 AM. Visit Insider.in for passes, priced at Rs 5000.

ZOOBAR, Vile Parle
The popular casual bar and eatery promises peppy tunes along with a wide variety of cocktails and food.  Expect burgers, pizzas, tacos and appetisers with cocktails made from premium alcohol. The entry is a cover charge of Rs 2500 for couples, Rs 1500 for men, and Rs 1000 for women.

Drop, Bandra
This new place opens with a New Year’s Eve party. Standing in place of Royalty in Bandra, you’ll find Drop – a venture between Prashant Gunjalkar and Corum Hospitality, the company behind The Bar Stock Exchange and Mr. Baozi. The chic, colourful resto bar offers modern European food with techniques like slow cooking, brazing, wood smoking, and more by chefs Kshama Prabhu and Gaurav Gidwani. Passes to the opening night party are priced at Rs 5000 per couple.

Raasta, Khar
The four-level space offers a spirited, simple party where you can sample unlimited food and drinks. If you’re on the 4th floor, you can pick from IMFL and starters, while the 5th floor gets you unlimited mid-range alcohol and starters. The terrace is new, and you can chill there with unlimited premium/imported alcohol, sheesha and Champagne. There’s also barbeque with starters here.

Amadeus, Nariman Point
Restaurateur Farrokh Khambata’s Dubai restaurant Jaan will pop up for the evening. The décor is expected to carry a Middle Eastern flourish, as the buffet will offer items from the Jaan menu, like Chole Hummus with Amritsari Kulcha, Arabic Malai Reshmi Murgh Biryani, and Dhaba Butter Chicken.
